Mark Baxa

Mark’s experience in Supply Chain leadership spans 40 years. In that time, he has led teams in sales, customer service, logistics, distribution, global trade operations & compliance, procurement, sustainability, supplier diversity, supply chain training, and supply chain strategy.
Mark has served 24 years with CSCMP including Chairman of the Board, and today is the President and CEO. He also serves as Chairman St Louis University Center of Supply Chain Excellence, and Northwestern University NUTC Business Advisory Council board member, and has served as global board member for WEConnect International, consistent with his belief in the value diversity brings to the supply chain. He facilitates supply chain policy development at the EU & US Federal level, teaches executive courses at the university level, is broadly published in numerous supply chain & business media, and speaks at conferences worldwide. In 2018, Mark was inducted into the prestigious DC Velocity Rainmakers.

Dr. Terry L. Esper currently serves as Chair of the Board of CSCMP, as well as a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar at the Hanken School of Economics in Helsinki, Finland. Esper’s research and supply chain insights have been published in most major supply chain academic journals and premier business press outlets, including Forbes, Wall Street Journal, BBC World News, Bloomberg, and CNBC.

Federico Baiocco
VP Supply Chain, Head of Global Logistics and S&OP at Iveco Group
Born in Rome 43 years ago. After scientific studies, I moved to Turin to join the Iveco Group. Starting a career path that led me to work in the supply chain from the very beginning. Within the group in 14 years I have held different roles in both design and operations in Italy, Spain and Germany, up to the current role in Supply Chain.
During these years, I have learned well what problems usually arise in this context, how to deal with them.
Mind flexibility is the fundamental skill for working in the supply chain because 'no matter how much you plan and try to regulate and standardize the entire process, there will always be new challenges to be grasped and taken to satisfy customers.

Luca Gelsomino

Luca is an Assistant Professor at the University of Groningen, a Senior Researcher at Windesheim University of Applied Sciences (both in the Netherlands) and the Academic Director of the SCF Community, an international foundation connecting universities that work on the field of SCF. In this role, he oversees the Community’s research projects, international network and publication strategy. His research focuses on the integration of operations and supply chain management with finance, as well as studying application and adoption of emerging technologies across global supply chains. His teaching interests include purchasing, supply chain management, financial analysis and Supply Chain Finance. He holds a Ph.D. with merit from the School of Management of Politecnico di Milano (Italy), on the topic of measuring the financial performance of supply chains. While working for the School of Management, he directed the School’s permanent research program on Supply Chain Finance.

Having built an intricate network in the transport and logistics space, Maria Lacalle leads logistic sector growth at Lune. Prior to her move into climate, she launched the Spanish market at Ovrsea (Groupe Bolloré, a multimodal logistics operator based in Paris), developed business at Group ADP and consulted for Deloitte Digital. Maria also holds an Executive Master’s in “Supply Chain & Logistics”. Lastly, she was recently selected as a Board member at CSCMP for the Spain Roundtable, and most recently spoke at Fitac Colombia, Vivatech Paris, and was also featured in Maritime SheEO as one of the next generation of women leaders in maritime.
